Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation in Bahria Town, Lahore

Meet Our Team at WHPT Pakistan

At WHPT Pakistan, we believe the quality of rehabilitation depends on the people behind it. Our team brings together clinical leadership, physiotherapists with complementary areas of training and a dedicated speech-language pathologist so that you or your family member can begin with the right professional and the right plan.

TEAM-BASED REHABILITATION AT WHPT

The Right Professional, Connected by Shared Clinical Standards

WHPT Pakistan brings physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, women’s health support and speech therapy into one coordinated clinical system. Patients are matched according to the problem, professional scope, availability and the type of assessment required.

The goal is not dependence on one founder or one clinician. It is a reliable team pathway with clear communication, responsible referral and consistent rehabilitation standards.

How We Match You with the Team

  • The main concern and relevant history
  • The clinician’s professional scope
  • Gender or privacy preferences
  • Service availability and urgency
  • Whether another professional is more appropriate

QUICK SUMMARY

Meet Our Team in Brief

We are a coordinated team of clinical leaders, physiotherapists and a speech-language pathologist. We match you according to your needs, goals, preferences and the professional scope required—rather than placing everyone into the same treatment program.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If your assessment shows that another WHPT professional or an external specialist would be more appropriate, we will explain why and guide you accordingly. Our priority is to help you reach the right care rather than continue a pathway that does not match your needs.

THE TEAM BEHIND YOUR CARE

Why the Team Behind Your Care Matters

You may come to us because of pain, weakness after surgery, difficulty walking, a balance problem, pelvic-floor symptoms, a sports limitation, speech delay or swallowing difficulty. These concerns do not all require the same type of care, and we do not place every patient into the same program.

We bring different clinical strengths together under one rehabilitation system. Our physiotherapists contribute experience in women’s health, neurological care, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, exercise, dry needling and manual therapy. Our speech-language pathologist supports speech, language, voice, fluency, oral-motor and swallowing needs. When a concern requires another professional, we explain the reason and help you take the next step.

Our Team Principle We help the right patient reach the right professional at the right stage. We assess carefully, explain the plan, collaborate when useful and refer when another service is more appropriate.

MATCH YOU WITH THE RIGHT

How We Match You with the Right Clinician

We consider your main concern, age, medical history, goals, privacy preferences and the complexity of the presentation before recommending a starting clinician. This may include:

  • Women’s health, pelvic-floor, prenatal, postnatal or women-focused rehabilitation needs
  • Neurological diagnoses, weakness, altered muscle tone, gait problems, balance limitations or long-term mobility needs
  • Pain or movement limitations involving the spine, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, wrist or other joints
  • Recovery after surgery, fracture, immobilization or a period of reduced activity
  • Sports injuries, return-to-training goals or the need to rebuild strength and physical confidence
  • Speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, oral-motor or swallowing concerns
  • Pediatric or adult care needs and the level of family or caregiver involvement required
  • A preference for a female clinician or a service provided specifically for female patients
  • The clinician’s training, current caseload and availability at the time of booking
  • The need to coordinate with physicians, surgeons, dentists, audiologists, psychologists, educators or other professionals
  • Whether you need WHPT clinical rehabilitation, a later transition to Alpha or referral to another service

IMPORTANT NOTE

If your assessment shows that another WHPT professional or an external specialist would be more appropriate, we will explain why and guide you accordingly. Our priority is to help you reach the right care rather than continue a pathway that does not match your needs.

LEADERSHIP

Leadership at WHPT Pakistan

Dr. Salman Sabir PT is our Co-Founder and Clinical Leader. A licensed physiotherapist with postgraduate training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and doctoral study in Exercise Physiology, he helps shape our assessment standards, patient education, active rehabilitation pathways, team development and long-term clinical direction. You can learn more about his clinical, academic and healthcare-leadership work on his dedicated profile.

Dr. Vishal Zahra PT is our Co-Founder and Director at WHPT Pakistan and Alpha Fitness & Martial Arts Club. Her work brings together physiotherapy, women’s health, corrective movement, fitness leadership, wellness education and authorship. She helps us strengthen women-centered care and the systems that support patients as they move from rehabilitation toward lasting physical confidence.

We work to shared clinical principles: assess before treating, explain the plan, respect each professional’s qualifications, prioritize active rehabilitation, review progress and refer when another service is needed. Each team member then brings a different combination of experience, training and clinical focus.

When you choose our team, you can expect:

  • A clear explanation of which clinician or service is most suitable for your needs
  • Assessment-led care instead of an automatic treatment package
  • Respect for your privacy, preferences and right to ask questions
  • Female-clinician and female-only options where available
  • Communication between physiotherapy, speech therapy and external specialists when useful
  • Active rehabilitation focused on movement, strength, confidence and daily function
  • Regular progress review and changes to the plan when the response is not as expected
  • Medical, dental, audiological or other specialist referral when indicated
  • A clear distinction between WHPT clinical rehabilitation and Alpha fitness services

IMPORTANT NOTE

Our aim is simple: we want you to reach the right professional, understand your plan and feel supported throughout your rehabilitation journey.

She works with pediatric and adult speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, oral-motor and swallowing needs. Depending on the assessment, her work may include support for:

  • Speech and language delay, articulation difficulties and communication development
  • Fluency concerns such as stuttering or cluttering
  • Voice and vocal rehabilitation within speech-language pathology scope
  • Oral-motor difficulties and swallowing rehabilitation where clinically appropriate
  • Social communication needs, including autism-related communication challenges

  • Family education, home practice, progress monitoring and multidisciplinary communication

IMPORTANT NOTE

You can contact us for guidance when you are unsure whether the main concern belongs to physiotherapy, speech-language pathology or another specialist pathway.

DAILY FUNCTION

How We Work Across WHPT Pathways

We keep every clinician within a clearly defined professional role. The clinician who completes your first assessment may continue your care, involve another WHPT professional, request senior review or recommend an external referral according to the findings and your goals.

HOW OUR PROFESSIONALS CONTRIBUTE

How Our Professionals Contribute

We keep physiotherapy and speech-language pathology clearly defined while allowing communication between team members when your needs overlap.

We use physiotherapy pathways for musculoskeletal pain, movement limitations, weakness, mobility, balance and post-surgical recovery. We use speech-language pathology pathways for speech, language, fluency, voice, oral-motor and swallowing concerns. When medical, dental, audiological, psychological or educational input is needed, we help coordinate or recommend the appropriate referral.

COORDINATE YOUR CARE

How We Coordinate Your Care

We make professional matching practical and flexible. We use the information you share during booking, the findings from your first assessment and your response to care to decide whether the initial clinician remains the best fit or whether collaboration, transfer or referral would serve you better.

Your care pathway may include:

  • A brief discussion of symptoms, diagnosis, age group, surgery or the main functional concern during booking
  • Identification of urgent symptoms that need medical assessment instead of a routine appointment
  • Consideration of female-clinician or female-only service preferences
  • Selection of the most relevant physiotherapy or speech-language pathway
  • A comprehensive assessment by the assigned professional
  • Senior review or case discussion when the presentation is complex
  • Transfer or shared care when another WHPT team member offers a more appropriate scope
  • External referral when you need medicine, surgery, imaging, dentistry, audiology, psychology or another service

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please tell us if the concern, diagnosis, language, age group or privacy preference changes. Accurate information helps us arrange the safest and most suitable appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU

What to Expect When You Book with Us

From your first message, we aim to make the process clear, respectful and flexible.

Step 1: Contact Us and Share the Main Concern

Tell us what is affecting you or your family member, any relevant diagnosis or surgery, the age group and any clinician preference. We will recommend the most appropriate starting point.

Step 2: Meet the Selected Professional

We arrange your appointment with the clinician whose role and availability best match the information provided. This is a starting decision, not an irreversible assignment.

Step 3: Complete a Comprehensive Assessment

Your clinician will examine the problem, screen for risks, discuss your goals and confirm whether the selected service is appropriate.

Step 4: Begin a Personalized Plan

We build your treatment, home guidance and review schedule around your findings and goals rather than copying a generic package.

Step 5: Collaborate, Transfer or Refer When Needed

When your needs extend beyond the original pathway, we may involve another WHPT professional, discuss a later transition to Alpha or recommend an external specialist.

Your Role in Team-Based Care

You and your family remain active partners in deciding what is realistic, acceptable and meaningful. We consider requests for particular clinicians alongside availability and clinical suitability.

BENEFITS & OUTCOMES

Benefits of Our Team-Based Rehabilitation Model

Our team model can give you:

  • A more appropriate starting point for different clinical and communication needs
  • Access to women’s health, neurological, musculoskeletal and speech-language expertise
  • Continuity when your clinician needs senior review or another professional’s input
  • Clear referral when a concern falls outside our scope
  • Shared care standards that do not depend entirely on one individual
  • Better coordination between clinical rehabilitation and later fitness progression
  • A simpler pathway for families managing complex or overlapping needs

We do not ask every patient to see multiple professionals. Many people need only one clinician and one focused pathway. We collaborate only when another perspective is likely to improve safety, clarity or progress.

I REQUEST A PARTICULAR CLINICIAN

Can I Request a Particular Clinician?

Yes. You can request a clinician by name, especially when you already have a therapeutic relationship, prefer a particular gender or have a need aligned with that clinician’s training. We will confirm current availability.

A named request may not always be the best clinical match. We may recommend another professional when the concern belongs to a different specialty, urgent medical review is needed or another clinician can provide earlier appropriate care.

I REQUEST A FEMALE CLINICIAN

Can I Request a Female Clinician or Female-Only Care?

Yes. We understand that privacy, culture, comfort and the nature of the concern can make a female clinician important. Our team includes women’s health and musculoskeletal clinicians whose services are specifically presented for female patients, along with other female physiotherapists and a female speech-language pathologist.

We will confirm current female-clinician availability when you book. You may also discuss the presence of a chaperone, family member or caregiver where appropriate.

When We May Recommend Another Professional

We may recommend medical or specialist review when we identify acute neurological loss, suspected fracture, infection, vascular symptoms, severe swallowing risk, unexplained weight loss, progressive systemic symptoms, significant mental-health concerns, dental or ENT causes, hearing-assessment needs or any concern outside the scope of physiotherapy or speech-language pathology.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

  • Bring relevant prescriptions, imaging, surgical notes and previous reports
  • List your medications, medical conditions and recent changes in health
  • Tell us which activities, communication tasks or daily functions matter most to you
  • Let us know about language, accessibility, privacy or female-clinician preferences
  • Wear clothing that allows appropriate movement assessment when attending physiotherapy
  • Ask who will provide care, what the plan involves and when we will review progress
AND SPEECH THERAPY UNDER ONE

Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy Under One Roof

We provide physiotherapy and speech-language pathology within the same rehabilitation environment while preserving the professional identity of each service. This can make communication easier for families managing neurological, developmental, post-surgical or long-term rehabilitation needs that affect more than one area of function.

WE BUILD CARE AROUND A

Why We Build Care Around a Team, Not One Person

We have built shared standards for assessment, documentation, communication, patient education, progress review and referral so that appropriate care does not depend on one founder or senior clinician being available for every appointment.

Our senior leadership remains available for complex case discussion and clinical direction, while each clinician works within their own qualifications, experience and professional scope. This approach strengthens continuity and allows our team to grow without making your care dependent on one individual.

From Clinical Rehabilitation to Long-Term Fitness

When your clinical goals have been met, you may still need structured strength, fitness, flexibility or conditioning. Where appropriate, we may discuss a transition from WHPT to Alpha Fitness & Martial Arts Club for the next stage.

At WHPT, we remain responsible for clinical assessment and rehabilitation. Alpha provides fitness, martial arts, conditioning and nutrition support through its own professionals and programs. Dr. Maria and Dr. Vishal may contribute across both organizations, while we keep the service boundaries clear.

CLINICAL INSIGHT FROM WHPT PAKISTAN

Good Care Should Not Depend on One Individual

A strong clinic does not tell patients that only a founder or senior name can provide quality care. It develops shared standards, supports clinical reasoning and guides each person to the professional best suited to the concern.

At WHPT, team-based care means clear roles, appropriate supervision, communication across pathways and referral when a need falls outside a clinician’s scope.

The right clinician, a reasoned plan and shared standards matter more than dependence on one individual.
